Lunch was very luxurious in the standards of the apocalypse. There were three meat dishes and several side dishes ranging from pickled cucumber to kimchi.

They also had fresh fruit juice and fruit platter for dessert.

“Ah! This is life!”

Everyone ate the most luxurious meal they had since this chaos happened. Lina even sniffed a bit, stuffing herself with food—afraid this was all a dream.

Mr. Bo felt a little teary as he patted the girl’s back. “Calm down, child, as long as we do our part, it won’t be going away.”

“Really?” She asked, then looking at Khalifa—the person she knew had the final say in the island (or anywhere else for that matter).

Khalifa chuckled and patted her head, “The most important thing for now is for Lina to grow up well.”

Lina sniffed, nodding.

The men smiled, and Sigmund looked, red eyes deep, before resuming to consume his food again.

**

They rested in the living room for a while and it took about another hour for them to tell Sigmund that his lab house was ready.

The house lent to Sigmund was a nice single detached house with 150 square meter building footprint and two floors. It was fully furnished—-like every other house—and it had a simplistic zen style that fit a personality to Sigmund’s well.

They then took him to the laboratory, a special high-security place (Kaize prepared it back then via Hugo’s company) in the inner circle. It was located at the eastern side, which was near the location of Sigmund’s house.

It was large and had the basic tools and equipment, and then there was also his ultra-advanced equipment from the back in the capital laboratory.

It wasn’t installed yet though.

“We didn’t know how to.”

Sigmund looked and frowned. Machinery wasn’t his forte either. “The equipment around is enough for the initial studies,” he said, looking at Khalifa.

“I will need a bit of your blood.”

The men looked at him guardedly while Khalifa sat down the chair, very obedient.

Sigmund’s eyes softened a bit, though he looked at the men who were nearby, watching his every move.

As he touched her soft skin to pat a vein, he couldn’t help but look at her. “Aren’t you afraid I’ll drain you?” he asked with an impassive expression on his face, but Khalifa knew he was genuinely curious.

She smiled at him, “I trust you.”

Sigmund’s eyes shook a little, but nothing else showed. Instead, he turned his head slightly in a direction, his red eyes zoning on a particular curly-haired young man.

“I will also need the same amount from him,” he told her, referring to Jacob.

Khalifa shrugged. “Ask him.”

Jacob nodded but he still looked guardedly, ready to kill if he took too much blood from Khalifa.

Sigmund expertly took a bit of blood, filling up a small vial. “This is enough for the week.”

“That’s it?”

“Hm,” he said, “Unlike others, my efficiency is much higher.”

She chuckled, it makes sense.

“Well, thanks for your hard work.”

That night was Kaize’s turn alone with Khalifa, and they set the mood by drinking a bit of wine while they sat on Khalifa’s sofa.

Sometime later, a little inebriated, Kaize looked at her with a serious expression on his face.

“Are you interested in him? The scientist?” he asked, rubbing his head on her shoulder.

“Hmm,” she admitted, gently massaging the back of his head.

“But he’s a robot.”

“A handsome robot.”

At her answer, he pulled her to him, letting her taste his tangy mouth.

“But I can give you your robot,” he said with a sly smile, pulling her in for a deep, deep, kiss.

The girl looked at the stiff handsome man lying on her carpet, confused and very, very, curious.

She admired his handsome profile, touching his face with her hands. It was very smooth and good to touch.

Her hand then crawled to his chest. It felt strong and well built.

“I wonder how it is underneath the clothes.”

The man remained stiff and unmoving, but this wasn’t a surprise. After all, he was a robot.

A robot she received.

It was from her friend Claire, who seemed very bothered by her having no boyfriend. She said she’d send something to help her out. She didn’t know it’d be a robot.

“How do you open this?” She mumbled, curiously groping all around the body to find the ’on’ button.

There were no instructions so she had to fumble around, having to touch everywhere. She touched his chest, his stomach and, eventually, she reached a little bump on its crotch.

She blinked. So robots were designed with these parts, too?

She cleared her throat, a little shy, before tentatively touching it.

When it suddenly flinched, she realized she was doing the right thing. “Hmm, I guess it worked.”

At this thought, the tentative touch with her finger changed to her whole palm.

She rubbed and rubbed and the robot only flinched, and in her innocent mind it was a machine that was struggling to completely ignite.

She looked at the zipper and opened it up, immediately allowing the alleged on button to spring out.

She looked at the long mushroom curiously. She wondered if a real guy’s thing also looked this pretty.

She groped it raw, moving her hand up and down, and the robot started to flinch a bit more intensely. There was even a bit of fluid leaking out of the tip.

Her thumb touched it, rubbing the fluid across the finger. It was sticky now and she wondered if it was the robot’s oil.

“Is it working?” She mumbled, using both her hands and she even pressed on the two ball sacks.

She turned to look and the robot opened its eyes. She let go of the on button and crawled next to his head. He was staring up at the ceiling, before turning his head to look at her.

He then sat up and went straight to a seiza position, his ’on button’ still high up and exposed to her eyes.

“Hello, Master. My name is Kaize, Realistic Robot Code 6969,” he said.

“How would you like me to assist you?”
