“What do you want?” Enna asked, her expression remaining cold and unmoved.

With even more dissatisfaction in her heart, Miranda managed to force a smile and said, “Nothing much, I just heard from my Manager that Young Master Lawrence had arrived and that there was someone with him. I thought it was you, so I came over to check.”

She approached Enna with such enthusiasm that she almost wanted to cling to her and reached out to pull at her.

Enna Clark subtly avoided her and said indifferently, “Now that you’ve seen me, you can go back.”

Her directness left Miranda speechless, almost choking on her own words. The fake smile on her face stiffened, and after taking a deep breath, she managed to maintain her smile though it was awkward, “We haven’t seen each other in a long time, and I have so much to tell you. I wonder if you might be available.”

Seeing Miranda’s eyes continually darting into the villa, Enna knew what she was thinking. She furrowed her brows and, without giving Miranda any face, directly refused, “I’m not available.”

Now, Miranda really felt cornered and internally cursed Enna for being ungrateful. Frustrated, she said, “You don’t seem very busy, you should have time for a chat, right?”

Enna had seen thick-skinned people before, but seeing Miranda this thick-skinned and oblivious was rare. She pursed her lips, her gaze growing even colder, “No, I’m very busy! If there’s nothing else, I should be going inside.”

Seeing her about to leave, Miranda quickly called out to her, “Enna!”
