Thankfully, Baron Lawrence caught them in time, his brows furrowed and a storm rising in his eyes, as he glared at her through gritted teeth, growling, “Enna Clark, am I that frightening!”

“It’s not that you’re frightening, it’s just… why are you suddenly standing at the door…”
Anyone deeply focused on a task would be startled by someone unexpectedly standing close by.

It was purely a natural reaction.

“I feel like it!” the domineering man had already forced the tomatoes back into her hands, crinkling his brow in impatience, “Hurry up, I’ve been waiting for half an hour!”

“…” It took the resort’s staff 3 minutes to bring the tomatoes; she had just gotten them, so her not being done was totally normal!
