Adam had a belly full of questions he wanted to ask her, too drained to joke with Enna Clark like before, and he barely squeezed out a smile, “Enna, I have something to talk with her about, we’ll be leaving first. Do you have someone to pick you up? If not, I’ll have my driver take you home.”

“I do, Mr. Harris is outside,” Enna Clark replied with a helpless expression, speaking softly.

Adam nodded, his noble visage still ashen with a dark undertone, managing to say, “Hmm, that’s good then. I’ll trouble you to look after Bobby and Gigi for a while, and I’ll find Baron another day, we can all have dinner together.”

“Okay, you guys go ahead.”

Olivia was despondent, no longer casting pleading glances at Enna Clark. She resignedly let Adam pull her away.
