Rudra recognised the worth of the authority merge token and tried to come up with a third party name for himself and Max.

” How about Elite Bloodfall? That move was pretty sick eh brother? Could be a good name for our duo” Max suggested as Rudra shook his head.

” Elite Bloodfall sounds like the name of a finishing move rather than a godly duo.

I’m thinking along the lines of our Rajput lineage, however, I also feel like there is an advantage if we don’t reveal our origins and surname.

Having an ambiguous past adds to the mystery of a lore.

So I’m thinking of something more abstract as our name” Rudra said as Max found his argument to be fair.

Naming things was never his strong suit anyways, so Max decided to not think too hard about the issue and let Rudra decide what he felt was best.

” Gemini. I think that’s a good name” Rudra suggested, as Max raised an eyebrow at the name.

Traditionally on Earth, Gemini was a zodiac sign representing the twin brothers.

It wasn’t a bad name for a godly duo and Max had no reservations against using it.

” Sure, sounds good” he said, as Max used the authority merge token and inputted ‘Gemini’ as their combined name.

” Sigh, things are not going how I expected them to go at all…..” Max groaned as he could not believe that a universe altering event was going to take place in just 6 short hours.

Only two days ago, he was singularly focused on defeating the perfect warrior and putting an end to his tyranny and now he had to worry about a new world, where he might not necessarily be the strongest anymore.

” You know what I’ve realised from all this Max?” Rudra said as he could feel the exhaustion behind Max’s sigh.

What Max was going through now, was the same thing that Rudra went through when he completed Omega as just as the game ended with him defeating Lucifer, a new adventure began that would not let him rest at all.

At one point, Rudra had also felt that if he could only complete Omega and have all the wealth and authority in the world, he could choose to retire in peace and spend time on nothing but family and friends.

However, he was a warrior at heart and the slow mundane life of family never satisfied him as much as the thrill of a battle.

Since he always had a reasonable excuse to pursue what he liked, he kept fooling himself thinking that he was only doing this for the family, however, in his heart he knew that it was not true at all.

” I’m going to make a change brother….. I don’t care what the new world has in store for us, but I’m going to take my time and enjoy some family life.

I’m still not sure how they would take being dragged into the new world, but I’ll be there for them during the transition.

I’ve already achieved everything there is to achieve and while I’m not against climbing the tower at all.

I’ll probably take a break before making active efforts” Max said as Rudra nodded and respected his choice.

” Sure-, I’ll look after the external threats, try to live a more balanced life” Rudra said as Max felt relieved to hear his brother’s words.

Since Rudra would be on-guard, Max had nothing to worry about and could enjoy his break in peace.

” Also brother, don’t worry, even if I’m stronger than you now, I’ll forever be the younger brother, so the post of the head of the family will always be you” Max said, as he teased Rudra about how he was letting him be the head of the family, as Rudra laughed out loud at Max’s words.

” Woah woah woah woah woah… Hahaha, since when have you become stronger than me, little one?” Rudra asked, as Max jumped to his feet and unleashed a sliver of his aura.

” Since I defeated the perfect warrior…. A foe you could not beat” Max said as Rudra grinned and jumped to his feet, unleashing a sliver of his aura to counter that of Max’s.

” You’re forgetting how I’ve helped you beat the perfect warrior.

How I’ve scouted his weakness, how I’ve guided you to train to beat him. How I’ve handed to you on a silver platter the strategy to take him down…” Rudra said, as he felt his ego hurt by the suggestion that he was no longer the best.

” 22.1% over your 22.04%.” Max said as Rudra cracked his neck and began lightly jumping on his toes.

” Seems like you need a brotherly beating-, a lesson in respect” Rudra said as he brought out Grim Reaper and Excalibur.

” Hoho, you think you can still take me? Intimidate me with your cute weapons?

Max had started it as a friendly debate, just a tease, but at this point it had evolved into a real tussle.

As Max’s blood red eyes met Rudra’s omniscient blue, both brothers knew that the other was not willing to back down and that if they escalated this any further it would evolve into a full blown fight.

” Just a reminder…I’m tier9 now…. The same as you-” Max said as Rudra smiled widely and replied ” I’d beat you even if you were tier15″ as he lunged in for the first strike!
