Daniu nodded, sharing his plans with her, “Yu said that these flowers will be very valuable once they are mature. Yu also values them greatly; just now during the meal, she asked about the sunflowers. I reckon that once things settle down, she’ll start planting them on a large scale.”

Zhou Qiao couldn’t help but turn her head, “Now that Yu has become the Village Chief, will she still plant flowers?”

The Village Chief has an annual salary, and her status is now noble, not even a bit inferior to those young ladies from great families. Those daughters of wealthy households usually stay home embroidering and reading books, and even if they go out, it’s to appreciate flowers.

Daniu laughed, “You don’t understand Yu; she likes to rely on herself in everything. Even as the Village Chief, she won’t miss an opportunity to make money. Once she’s ready to plant sunflowers, I’ll go find Yu and volunteer myself. Then we’ll see where she buys land, and we’ll go there.”

Lu Sanzhu didn’t really want to get involved; he felt troubled, so he turned and shouted back inside, “Honey, Daniu and his wife are here, get up quickly.”

Then he turned back to the couple before him and said, “Daniu, whatever it is, talk to your Third Aunt, Third Uncle still has to go to work. It’s getting late, if I don’t leave now, I’ll be late.”

As he finished speaking, he was ready to leave, not even going to buy breakfast anymore.

Daniu knew Lu Sanzhu all too well and immediately saw through his thoughts.
