Chapter 371: 371. Dream’s Over and Now Let Her Be Confused about It ’Till She Forgets

He drove inside her pussy one last time with a thunderous thrust, his body shaking as he found his release. A guttural roar tore from him, and his hands crushing her breasts so hard she thought they would burst.

“TAKE YOUR FIRST CREAMPIE, YOU DRUID BITTCCCHHHH!!!”

SPLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!

Nerith felt a sudden heat inside her, a flood so overwhelming it seemed to expand and fill every inch of her insides. It was a deluge, a hot and heavy presence that filled her to the brim and then overflowed.

She choked against the gag, her eyes rolling back as her body bucked against the sheer volume of him. “MMMRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”

The release was sudden and wet when Rex finally pulled away. A thick, white torrent of semen and mixed juices poured from her, a waterfall of fluid that ran down her inner thighs and heavy onto the roots and soil below her.

It was a massive amount, a glistening, viscous, steaming trail of his victory.

“Phew~! Look at the mess I made, and it was with you as well.” Rex laughed. “I want to do it more now!”

Nerith fell forward, forehead against the rough bark, her body shaking with shock and shame. She could feel the warm flow still leaking out of her, a constant reminder of the violation, while Rex stood over her, watching it with a satisfied, cold grin.

“Now you see why to not mess with me,” Rex said, crossing his arms. “You’re really going to get it rough, and today I’m still toning it down a little with the torture.”

“But again… this is just mercy for the likes of you.” Rex snapped his fingers.

The magic snapped suddenly. The twisted roots that had imprisoned her dissolved into the ground, the leafy gag falling from her jaw and into the dirt like a forgotten husk.

“Bleeerrggghhhh…” Nerith spits a lot of her saliva, and her face is a mess. “Uggghhh…”

Nerith fell forward, her legs collapsing beneath her, and she crumpled into a pile of shaking limbs. Her head was spinning, the world tilting on a sickening axis.

Her eyes were glazed, unfocused, swimming with a dizzying cocktail of exhaustion and trauma. Each breath was a ragged, shuddering gasp, her lungs struggling to find a rhythm after the frantic, suffocating intensity of the last few minutes.

Rex, who seemed not to mind the physical exertion, reached down. His hand, still warm from her skin, rested on the top of her head.

He started patting her hair in a slow, rhythmic motion, a gesture that should have been comforting but felt more like a predator stroking a wounded animal.

“There we go,” he whispered, his voice resuming a calm, terrifyingly normal sound. “All done.

Nerith tried to raise her head, but her vision blurred as she looked up at him through a veil of tears. She wanted to scream, to tell Apollo, to curse him, but her voice was a mere rasp.

Rex’s hand stopped, the fingers curling a little in her hair, a silent warning. His eyes met hers, hard, unyielding.

“Now pay attention, little flower,” he said, lowering his voice to a low, commanding level. “If you even breathe a hint of what went on here to him, then the next time will be much, much worse…”

“No soft words or gentle jests.”

“I’ll fucking break you until you forget everything, even that fucking virgin!”

He leaned in, his shadow enveloping her completely. “You belong to me from now on.”

“You’ll do anything I say, anything I want, anything I tell you to do until the day you decide you just can’t take it anymore.”

“And even then… we’ll see what happens.”

He patted her head one last time, a final condescending gesture, and then straightened up and looked down at the mess of semen and tears he left behind, looking as satisfied as a man who just finished a light meal.

“But the sad truth is…” Rex gets closer to her with his fingers. “…all of this is just a dream that I controlled.”

SNAP!

Nerith woke up gasping.

Her hand shot out and grabbed the nearest thing, which turned out to be Rex’s sleeve, and she held it with the grip of someone who needed to confirm that the ground was real before they were willing to commit to being on it.

Her breathing was loud and uneven, and her eyes were doing the rapid scan of someone whose body had decided danger was present and hadn’t received the correction yet.

The leaves in her hair were white.

Rex had never seen them white before.

He was already facing her when she woke, sitting cross-legged on the forest floor about an arm’s length away, which was the position he had been in since he stepped back out of the dream and let it conclude on its own.

He looked at her with the particular expression he kept for moments that required patience above all else, open and unhurried and completely without the edge that had been in his voice at the waterfall.

“Hey,” he said quietly.

Nerith stared at him.

Her breathing didn’t slow immediately. She was still holding his sleeve.

The white in the leaves was fading toward a pale, shaken amber, which meant she was starting to register the actual environment rather than whatever she had just come out of.

“You’re awake,” Rex said. “Don’t worry… we’re still in the forest, and nothing is happening.”

She looked around once, taking in the trees, the afternoon light, and her staff on the ground beside her. Then she looked back at him.

“What happened?” she said. Her voice was rough.

“You fainted,” Rex said. “Right after we left the basin.”

“I caught you before you hit the ground.” He spoke in a manner that conveyed mostly true statements, providing just enough detail to answer the question without emphasizing any particular word. “I’ve been sitting here waiting for you to wake up.”

Nerith looked at him for a long moment.

“I had a dream,” she said.

“I know… you were making sounds.” He kept his voice even. “You don’t have to talk about it.”

“It was—” She stopped.

Something moved through her expression that was too complicated to read cleanly. She looked down at her hand still holding his sleeve and let go of it, which seemed to cost her some effort.

“It felt… very real.”

“Bad dreams usually do,” Rex said.

She pressed the back of her hand to her mouth for a moment. The leaves were amber now, not white, trembling at the edges.

“You were in it,” she said.

Rex looked at her steadily. “Was I.”

“You were—” she shook her head. “No… It doesn’t matter.”

“It’s bothering you,” Rex said.

“It was a dream.”

“That doesn’t mean it’s not bothering you.”

She looked at him again, and he could see her making the same expression she always did when trying to reconcile two different interpretations of the same situation. The dream had been vivid enough to leave her hands shaking slightly when she first grabbed his sleeve.

And Rex, sitting here in the afternoon light with a patient expression and no particular agenda visible anywhere on his face.

“You were… cruel and all rough in it; it feels like I’m seeing a different person,” she said, her tone blunt. It was as if she had resolved there was no more delicate way to express her thoughts.

Rex was quiet for a moment. Then he said, “I’m sorry you had that.”

The simplicity of it seemed to catch her off guard. She had clearly been braced for something else.

“Dreams take what we’re worried about and make it as bad as possible,” he said. “That’s what they do.”

“It doesn’t mean it’s what’s true.” He leaned forward slightly, elbows on his knees, looking at her at the same level instead of from above. “What I actually did was catch you when you fell and sit here for the last twenty minutes making sure you were going to wake up.”

Nerith looked at his face.

“Why,” she said.

“Because you’re on my team,” Rex said. “And you’ve had a difficult day, and you didn’t deserve to wake up on the ground alone.”

The amber in the leaves deepened, which was the color it turned when she was feeling something she hadn’t anticipated. She looked away toward the tree line, and he could see her working through it, the dream on one side and its reality on the other, trying to find the line between them.

“I almost told him,” she said. Not a confession exactly. More like she was saying it out loud to hear what it sounded like. “At the waterfall…”

“I almost told Apollo about you.”

“I know,” Rex said.

She looked back at him. “You’re not angry.”

“I was,” he said. “For about a minute.”

He let that sit there briefly. “Then I thought about what kind of afternoon you’d had, and I decided it wasn’t worth holding.”

Nerith stared at him.

’Is this the real Rex…?’ Nerith thought. ’It’s different from the dreams where he literally rapes me so hard…’

’But… I’m glad that everything’s over and now that I could see the gentle Rex I’ve known for the first time.’

’Though… I still remember that moment with Talyra, and I think… maybe… I should just let it stay with me without having to let Apollo know about it.’

Nerith’s body trembled. ’I-I don’t want to make him mad so that the dreams I just saw won’t happen at all…’

“I put you in a difficult position,” Rex said. “The way I handled things between us wasn’t—”

He paused, and the pause was the right length. “It wasn’t how I would have chosen to do it, with more time.”

’You’re allowed to have a reaction to that.”
