Kingston Howard couldn’t help but take another look at her.

Enna Clark let him look. She had nothing to fear since her conscience was clear; she had been through worse slanders. Compared to the baseless rumors and what Jasmine Clark had done, this was nothing.

She had nothing to be afraid of.
